Digital reception onboarding guide

Finally your Digital Reception has arrived, you've purchased BrightBooking Digital Reception licenses, and you want to know how to install Room booking.
Thank you for your purchase, and you've come to the right place!

If you are starting without any prior knowledge of BrightBooking, please read the 'What is BrightBooking?' article.

To install BrightBooking Digital Reception, the following steps are needed:

  1. Receive the login credentials
  2. People you need
  3. Configure BrightBooking Digital Reception
  4. Enjoy your work, and spread the word!

Receive the login credentials

The login credentials are provided after purchasing BrightBooking from a reseller of your choosing.

You need the login credentials to log in to the BrightBooking portal and do the configuration.

People you need

There are some people you might need to do some of the work for you, these are the roles you need:

BrightBooking administrator
Appoint someone, probably an office manager of someone from facilities to becom the BrightBooking administrator. He or she will configure the system together with facility management and IT.
IT
The configuration of the integration, and providing networkconnectivity for the digital reception kiosk display will require the IT department.
Facilities
Besides the overall involvement you need the facilities to install the the digital reception kiosk display.
Everyone
Involve all the people in your organization once the system is set up! 

Configure BrightBooking Digital Reception

Roles you need:

Main role: BrightBooking administrator
Supporting roles: IT, Facilities

Now you're able to configure BrightBooking! Log in to the BrightBooking portal, and use the references below to configure all the parts.

It is probably best to start configuring, and as you go some decisions have to be made. Collect them and discuss this with Facilities. Facilities will also need to help you to mount the digital reception kiosk display at the right places.
IT will need to provide you with access to the network, and will need to help with configuring the badge printer (if you want to use badges).
